Introduction
frens.markets is an opinions market — a place to trade on what you think will happen, priced in probabilities and paid in SOL.
What a market is
Every market is a question with two sides: YES and NO. Shares of each side trade between 1¢ and 99¢, and the price is the market's live estimate of the probability. A YES share at 62¢ means the crowd currently puts the odds at 62%.
When the market resolves, shares of the correct outcome redeem for exactly $1 each; shares of the wrong outcome expire worthless. Your edge is the gap between the price and what you believe the real probability is.
How a trade flows
- You pay in SOL. Balances, tickets, fees and payouts are all denominated in SOL — USD equivalents are shown alongside.
- Routing is automatic. Behind every trade, your SOL routes to USDC, where markets settle. You never touch a bridge or a stablecoin yourself.
- Fills come from a live order book. The ticket shows the exact average price your size gets before you confirm.
What makes frens.markets different
Every number you see is an executable number — quotes come from the live book, not a house line, and the confirmation dialog restates exactly what will fill before anything moves. Deposits, withdrawals and fills all report their on-chain status in the notification bell as they happen.
